About Joel
I have over 5 years of experience teaching guitar and hold a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Guitar Studies. My passion is helping students develop a strong musical ear through transcribing solos, hearing chord progressions, and improving pitch recognition. Lessons integrate listening, theory, and hands-on practice to connect what you hear with what you play. Students gain the ability to learn songs independently and anticipate harmonic changes in real time. I work with learners at all skill levels who want to strengthen their ear and musical intuition. Each session is interactive, structured, and goal-oriented. I emphasize curiosity, patience, and consistent practice. Students often notice rapid improvement in both accuracy and confidence.
