About Victoria
Hello! My name is Heritage, and I’m a friendly, patient, and passionate English tutor who enjoys helping students become more confident readers and better communicators. I have experience teaching English to junior secondary school students and I enjoy making lessons simple, interactive, and easy to understand.
I believe learning English shouldn’t feel like punishment. If reading a difficult passage makes you want to close the book and disappear, don’t worry—we’ll take it one step at a time! My goal is to create a relaxed learning environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes, practice freely, and improve without feeling embarrassed.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I adjust my lessons to suit each learner’s level, pace, and needs. With patience, consistent practice, and a little fun along the way, we’ll work together to turn “I can’t read this” into “Oh, I actually understand this!”

I offer engaging and personalized English Reading lessons designed to help students read more confidently, clearly, and fluently. My teaching approach is patient and student-centered, using guided reading, pronunciation practice, vocabulary building, comprehension exercises, and reading aloud. I explain difficult words and sounds in simple ways and provide corrections and encouragement throughout each lesson.
Lessons typically last 45–60 minutes, depending on the student’s age, level, and learning needs. I have experience teaching English to JSS students, helping them develop their reading, pronunciation, vocabulary, comprehension, and overall confidence in English.
My lessons are suitable for children and JSS students who want to improve their reading skills, whether they are beginners, struggling with reading, or simply looking to become more fluent and confident readers. Each lesson is adapted to the student’s pace and individual needs.
