About Mina

I am a journalism, history and international relations student at UQ, I have been tutoring ESL for 2 years. I started out knowing no English and understanding no one and now I will study and teach English for the rest of my life and I am looking to show others that the road is not as tough and that they can also do the same.

About the lesson

I like to teach what is important, knowing and understanding the usage of everyday phrases is what is important to me. I like to keep my students engaged and prepare them for real world situations first then deepening their understanding of the language and its varied use. I use games and simulations of real-world events for my students to ease the learning process.

Fantastic day-to-day English instructor. Mina has an excellent understanding of the content and adds creativity and soul into his lessons. He ensures the basic concepts are always settled in first and then expands on them in a unique and seamless manner. He has helped me go from a beginner to someone who enjoys reading and writing in English.
