About William
I currently work at EdX as a teaching assistant and run a web development agency . The bootcamp curriculum I teach covers everything from plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to React and Express GraphQL servers. I work with students on a daily basis, teaching lessons as well as reviewing code and assisting in debugging.

When learning a new concept or skill, it is quite helpful to relate what you are trying to learn to that which you already know and understand. This is especially true with programming, as it is easy to get "lost in the sauce" and start seeing everything as one and the same.
I take a relational approach with my students when introducing new concepts by drawing parallels with already familiar technical concepts, and through analogies that help make the abstract more tangible.
