About Paul
Hello! I am Paul Gibson and I love to teach science. Whether it's the physics of roller coasters or the chemistry of fireworks, I love to put excitement and enthusiasm into the world of science and I look forward to meeting you soon. I have been a teacher of science for 10 years and have a wealth of experience teaching people of all abilities. I've taught in private schools and state schools and helped hundreds of students to get the grades in science that they deserve! In terms of education, I have a degree in chemistry from the University of Leicester and a teaching qualification from the University of Nottingham. In the past 10 years I have taught all ages, from 10 to 18, across all different qualifications and specifications. A lesson with me is always fun and enjoyable! I believe that the best lessons are educational and entertaining at the same time. Over the years I have developed many different ways of explaining complicated topics and there is always a crazy analogy that can help your understanding. I am patient and kind and always willing to help. A trial lesson with me would be a great way for you to meet me and see how well we get on. It will also enable us to discuss what we need to do together to help you achieve your goals in science education.
