About Ali
I have been acting for the better part of 25 years. I received my undergraduate degree in Acting Performance and Directing from Augsburg College in MN, USA and completed my Graduate Degree at Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York City. I've worked with many individuals on scene work, monologues, and audition prep for both straight plays and musicals. I am also a puppeteer and have created my own work, puppets and folly instruments for different productions. Lastly, I was part of a playwriting apprenticeship at P.S. 11 in Chelsea, New York City. I've written and been apart of many new works as well as editing and proofing for colleagues in the past.

I like to tailor each lesson to the individual I am working with. There's no one size fits all approach and I like to draw upon my numerous years of experience as a performer and through my education to find what will work best for each individual. I create safe, nurturing, non-judgmental spaces for people to feel free to explore whatever they would like to or need to explore for that day's lesson/scene/monologue etc.. I bring a loving, authentic, genuine, curious and fun approach and energy to each new session! Looking forward to meeting you!

Please let me know if you need to cancel prior to our session. My cancellation policy is 24 hours. If it is within that timeframe, you will be fully reimbursed. However, if it is within the 24 hour window, the full fee will incur.
