About Shu
Hi, 안녕하세요! I’m Shu, a native Korean speaker who studied in Korea and Canada, and I’ll soon start studying law here in Australia. I have experience teaching students and love making Korean learning fun, easy, and practical. I believe learning Korean shouldn’t feel like boring homework. We’ll focus on topics you love, from K-pop lyrics and dramas to Korean food, slang, and culture. My lessons are tailored to you, whether you want to start reading and writing, practice conversation, or just understand Korean better in real life.

In my lessons, we focus on fun and practical topics, not just textbooks. Beginners: Learn to read and write Hangul quickly, and start speaking in simple conversations from day one. Intermediate/Advanced: Practice essay writing, reading, or discuss topics like Korean movies, history, current events, or even slang. Lessons are flexible. online, at my home in Melbourne East, or I can visit you. Whether you’re learning for travel, K-pop, culture, or study, my goal is to make Korean fun, easy, and something you look forward to every time.
