About Akshat

I'm a Computer Science graduate from King's College London who loves getting children excited about making things with code rather than just using screens. I'm patient, I don't talk down to kids, and I'm good at turning abstract ideas into something they can see working on their screen by the end of the session. Whether your child is just curious, building towards their GCSE, or loves games and wants to make their own, I meet them at their level and keep them motivated.

About the lesson

Sessions are hands-on and project-driven — we build something every lesson so there is always a visible result to be proud of. We start with Scratch for younger or newer learners: animations, interactive stories, simple games, logic and sequencing — the same foundations the school computing curriculum is built on. When they are ready, we move into Python: text-based games, quizzes, small apps and creative projects. Along the way they develop real problem-solving and computational thinking skills that transfer directly into school. I keep parents updated on progress. Online via Zoom with screen sharing, or in person in London. First session is free — message me with your child's age and what they are interested in.

What I really like about the way he teaches is that he doesn’t rush or talk down to you. He listens to where you’re stuck and then explains it in a way that actually fits how you think. He’s patient, clear, and very good at turning confusion into something manageable.
