About Lesley
I have a degree in history and a degree in biophysics with a minor in math. Although I haven't competed professionally, I have a great passion for chess and play constantly. I know the game inside and out, and I'm not a nerd so playing with me is really fun as well as a great learning experience.

I typically only teach beginners. My lesson plan is to teach them how to set up the board, teach them how to move the pieces and the various rules, and then we just play. Learn from mistakes. I try to keep it simple to start.
