About Natasha
Heya!
My name is Natasha, and I am a friendly performer/teacher from Sydney. I have two performance degrees, and years of experience in both teaching and theatre. Some of my theatre credits include, Les Miserables (Dubai Tour), Les Miserables (Asia Tour), The Railway Children (UK), The Girls From Oz (UK), 35mm: A Musical Exhibition (Australian Premiere).
I've spent the last 2 years living and performing in London, but ran the musical theatre program at Kick Dance & Arts (Brisbane) for 6 years prior to that. As the singing/drama teacher, I also directed all of their major musicals - Peter Pan, You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, and The Wizard of Oz.

I truly believe anyone can learn to sing - all you need is the willingness to work, and the ability to be both critical, and kind to yourself. While I am definitely a technical teacher, I like to tackle songs from an acting perspective - if you understand what you're saying, the voice will automatically respond. Lessons will involve breathing exercises, warm ups, song (or monologue) analysis - and 'working' - and transitioning from speech to song & vice versa.
