About Emma
My name is Emma! I have over a decade of experience in teaching Italian as a foreign language and a degree in Communications at International University of Languages and Media (IULM), Milano. I was born in Pavia (Northern Italy) in 1982, but life took me to Spain first and then Canada for almost 8 years. I moved back to Europe at the end of 2014.
I’m professional, very organized, easy-going, friendly, fun, patient, and eager for my students to succeed.
I speak Italian, Spanish, English and a bit of French.

I offer interactive lessons via Skype that include everything you would expect from a face-to-face lesson.
The classes will be completely tailored to your level, needs and preferences. Conversation and grammar will always play an important part. Whether with situational dialogues I have developed through the years, or with the use of drills and exercises, or with conversations that we improvise in the moment, you will be speaking a lot. At the same time, you will be learning grammar so that you can improve your sentence construction and hold longer and more meaningful conversations.
During the first free trial lesson, my main goal will be to assess your level and requirements in order to create a lesson plan that fits you perfectly. If you decide to continue, all customized didactic material will be sent to you via e-mail before each class. After your lesson, you will also receive a written feedback with any new words, expressions, grammar explanations and pronunciation notes from your class.
I offer continuous assistance during your learning process. You can email me at any time about any question you may have.
