About Jenn

The most important thing for me is that the student ENJOYS playing and making music. Once there is enjoyment hard work and perseverance follows. I have experience and understanding of the requirements and needs of each individual student and I tailor my lessons accordingly.
I am a qualified music teacher with grade 8 Piano Duet from Trinity College of Music, a Bachelor in Education, Diploma in Multimedia & possess a few other certifications. I have 20+years of experience as a piano teacher, primary school music teacher, choir director, organist and accompanist and I enjoy playing duets & love introducing duet playing to my students. I am getting back to teaching music lessons after a short break, as I was and still am pursuing other interests & hobbies. I have experience teaching group lessons but prefer and enjoy teaching one on one lessons so i get to know each student and cater to individuals learning needs. I have also taught music to students with learning disabilities especially Asperger Syndrome (AD) & ADHD and found the experience very rewarding.
I have in the past trained students for - performance and theory exams conducted by the Trinity College of Music London.

About the lesson

One on one Piano lessons for beginner students with flexible approach to individual needs of each student. You will learn to play, read and understand music step by step , include fun online games & apps where possible.
Each beginner lesson is 30 minutes in duration and is suitable for ages 5 and above. Children with learning disabilities are welcome too. Available to teach Mon - Friday 4-6pm
