I am a year 11 student who is soon going to college where I will be studying psychology, sociology and RE. I want to tutor other students because I understand that it can be hard to understand certain topics or hard to motivate yourself to revise topics.

I think that I would start off with explaining the topic to the student and then letting them explore the detail and figure out the more difficult ideas practically alone but with extra support. This means their learning techniques will be individually unique to them and they can take advantage of that.
