About James
I first learned Spanish in a 6-week intensive language training program prior to moving to Fresno, California where I lived and worked among the migrant communities. Since returning, I have interpreted for an immigration law firm, ran a club sponsored by my university's LatinX culture center, and taught Sunday school in Spanish. All of which have required constant use of my Spanish and have immersed me in their culture. In addition to my linguistics degree, I tested out of 16 credits worth of college-level Spanish classes while attending college.
