About Noor
I am currently on a gap year, keen to use this time productively by supporting students with their Biology studies. I discovered how much I enjoy helping others learn while tutoring classmates through a peer mentoring scheme at school, where I gained confidence explaining ideas in simple, clear ways. Tutoring also gives me the chance to earn some money while doing something I genuinely enjoy. My lessons are typically an hour long, but I can be flexible with timings to suit each student’s needs. I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where GCSE and A Level learners can feel comfortable asking questions, strengthening their knowledge, and preparing for exams with confidence.

My name is Noor, and I offer supportive and engaging tutoring in A Level and GCSE Biology. I focus on breaking complex topics into clear, manageable steps, using diagrams, examples, and active questioning to build understanding. Each lesson typically lasts around one hour, giving enough time to cover content thoroughly and check understanding. While I am new to formal tutoring, I bring strong subject knowledge and a patient, encouraging approach to help learners feel confident. My lessons are ideal for secondary school students preparing for exams or anyone who would like extra support with Biology.
