About Ringnyu

I'm Ring, a second-year (BSc) Economics student. At A-level, I studied Maths, Economics and Geography. During GCSE, I studied business, a subject in which I developed an interest; however, my Sixth form didn’t offer the subject at a higher level. This led me to choose A-level economics, a subject I grew passionate about, resulting in my decision to pursue further study at the university level. In my studies of economics, I continuously expand on A-level economics and Business principles through modules such as corporate financial management. In addition to this, I also participate in business-related competitions such as Enactus, a student-run social enterprise society that aims to create lasting positive impacts in our local community in line with the United Nations sustainability goals through entrepreneurship. This year’s project was called Nourish Kids. The goal of this project was to address the issue of holiday hunger by providing affordable meals. My team won the Sodexo Stop Hunger award in addition to more than 1000 pounds worth of funding. I also lead a team that competed in the 2025 L'Oréal Brandstorm in which teams design a groundbreaking product, service, or device based on a specific brief. Participants must prepare a presentation pitching their ideas, along with a video explaining the challenges encountered during the design process.

About the lesson

During my lessons, I use slides to explain the content. After covering the material, I guide the student through exercises designed to reinforce and test their understanding. My approach is flexible, and I will adapt the structure based on the student’s confidence level and individual needs. Lessons typically run for 45 minutes to 1 hour. These lessons are aimed at GCSE students.

Good general understanding of business concepts; however, to improve, he needs to convey his ideas using more business terminology and discuss how what he has discussed affects a business's ability to meet business goals and objectives. Overall, great performance, attentive, and engaged with the lesson.
