About Iqra
I am a university student pursuing a course in Media and Communications with a strong academic background in Design and Technology, as I have successfully obtained Grade 8 in both GCSEs and A-Levels. The knowledge I have on the subject offers me an opportunity to instruct students efficiently both in the coursework (NEA) and theory as I am aware of the challenges students might encounter.
I am tolerant, friendly and extremely organised so as to have lessons well structured but in a facilitating environment. Being a student in university myself, I can easily connect with students and explain ideas in an easy and exciting manner which would both instil confidence and independence.

My lessons are organised, accommodating and individualised to individual students so as to guarantee steady progress. I specialise in GCSE Design and Technology. I help students maximise their coursework (NEA) marks, build their design portfolios, and gain confidence in mastering the theory to pass exams.
The sessions are generally 60 to 90 minutes in length and are devoted to clear explanations, practical instructions and usable feedback to allow students to know at all times how they can do better. I have also successfully obtained Grade 8 in both GCSE and A-Level Design and Technology, which means that I know what the examiners seek and how to help students to obtain grades between 7 and 9.
I also deal with students of all abilities, whether they have to develop confidence, better learn theory, or achieve the highest grades, in an atmosphere of good rapport where they feel encouraged to achieve.
