About Caitlin

I work at AQA, the largest exam board in the world, therefore I have a great understanding of what examiners are looking for in children’s work. Furthermore, I work with kids for my job as I am a football coach and a primary school extra-curricular assistant therefore I feel I understand and enjoy working with children.
I love learning, I think it's such a fun way to spend my time though I realise not everyone shares this passion which is why I enjoy tutoring as I get to share this joy with others who haven't experienced it before. I do not want less confident students to be intimidated by this love as I have helped friends who hated these subjects get As and enjoy it at the same time. I feel I have soaked up such incredible knowledge from my school that I would like to pass on to others.

About the lesson

I believe that having fun while learning helps children absorb the knowledge for longer and more easily, I finished my A Levels last year so I understand how stressful and taxing studying can be. Furthermore, I studied at a Grammar School for 7 years where I received my GCSE results in August 2022, achieving 9s (A**) in both English Literature and English Language and a 7 (A) in Maths. In May 2024, I took A Level English and achieved a A so I have a fresh and updated knowledge of the content I teach. Lessons can be between 30 minutes and an hour depending on your/your child's availability.
