About Eliza
Whilst schools may be good at teaching vocabulary, I think they often miss the key tips which help students secure more marks in exams. Having worked out key tricks and things to look out for when sitting my own exams, I believe I have invaluable advice and guidance to offer. Languages also take a lot of practice, particularly with speaking which many students struggle with as schools often do not have the time for individual practice. Here I can help, with specific exam-focused speaking activities.

-I offer exam-driven tutoring with a focus on past-paper questions and specific exam technique. I can help with speaking practice to gain confidence for GCSE speaking exams, help develop broader vocabulary, or improve understanding of grammatical concepts.
-La Haine and No et Moi are popular choices for the essay paper of the A-level which students often struggle on. I can help with essay planning, structuring responses and gaining familiarity with plot/quotes. I
-Tutees will have free access to online revision resources which helped me achieve grades 9 and A* respectively in my GCSE and A-level French - flashcard sets and essay plans/character sheets.
-Lessons will be online via video call. Lesson length is typically 45mins (+15mins for me to plan) but can be discussed according to preference.
