About Abid

I am a third-year Electrical and Computer Engineering student at the University of Leeds, having completed A-Levels in Maths, Economics, and Further Maths. I help students improve their skills for 11+, SATs, GCSE, and KS3 exams. My focus is on building understanding and confidence in these exams. Please contact me to discuss lessons for your child.

About the lesson

My lessons combine concept teaching with regular exam-style practice to ensure students develop both understanding and exam technique. Each session is structured to cover key curriculum topics while addressing individual learning needs. During lessons, I break down complex ideas into manageable parts and provide targeted practice questions to reinforce learning. Students receive regular feedback and guidance on improving their work, with homework assigned to consolidate their progress between sessions.
I'm currently studying Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Leeds, with a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths and A-Levels in Maths and Economics. Having personally sat the Tiffin Boys' entrance examination, I understand firsthand what it takes to succeed in grammar school admissions, and I've used that experience to help students prepare confidently for their own 11+ exams. I've also supported students working towards their GCSE Maths and Economics grades, helping them build both strong foundations and exam-day confidence.
