About Sadie
I hold a degree in Philosophy (Bristol University) and a masters in Theatre Directing (Birkbeck) and work freelance in theatre. However, I have always had a passion for maths, having studied further maths at A level, and so throughout my time as a student I tutored maths to earn some extra money. I now have eight years experience of tutoring, a deep understanding of the syllabus and have helped raise the grades of numerous students sitting their GCSEs.

I love inspiring confidence in students and I do this by getting them to enjoy the subject by presenting questions in a fun way. The reason I've always loved maths is because its problem solving and like breaking secret codes. I like to help students to train themselves to think creatively about how to solve puzzles using key pieces of knowledge they have, rather than thinking about maths as a series of procedures that you either get right or wrong. I find this way that a lot of my students realise that they are better at maths than they thought!
