About Isla
I have just achieved 3 A's in my A level exams for Maths, Physics and Spanish. Now on my gap year, I hope to teach abroad and continue private tutoring because I have enjoyed my experience so far with Superprof. At GCSE, I achieved 9 Grade 9's, so am confident in strategies to achieve top grades across subjects. I was requested to teach physics by one of my maths students, and the sessions were very successful, hence I made this ad. Feel free to message me for a 1 hour free trial session!

Each lesson typically lasts 1 to 2 hours. I keep track of all lesson progress so we can recap weak areas, and refer to the specification so nothing is forgotten. I also provide study and exam techniques to help students perform at their best in GCSE Physics if they would like it! If students want me to teach a lesson I will cover all topic content, and conclude with interactive flashcards and exam style questions. For revision sessions we will immediately jump to exam questions and fill in gaps. All of my lessons can be easily adapted though if a student prefers a different structure, but we will cover a variety of learning methods to keep the session engaging. I am also happy to deliver some lessons dedicated to Spanish or Maths as I study them at A Level, and offer advice for life after high school if students are considering A Levels or University. I typically offer sessions online, but I cycle to the city centre or students' homes if that's a better fit, message me to find out if I can accommodate your needs!
