About Destini
Hey, my name is Destini, a 17 year old student currently studying for my A levels. I’d love to teach because I feel as though every student would benefit from having that extra person to guide and support them through their studies. I know firsthand how difficult it can be to juggle workload, homework and revision and the amount of pressure it can cause. I understand the importance of looking after your mental health during the stressful times of exams especially and I thrive off of helping others. My expertise lies within English literature, which is verified by me achieving a grade 9 and studying it further for A Levels. However, I am also confident to teach GCSE mathematics at both Foundation and Higher levels, due to my understanding and achieving a grade 8.

As someone who is a high achiever, yet also struggled with asking for help, I would’ve loved the opportunity to have a private tutor who was warm, friendly, relatable and understanding. This is exactly what I aim to offer as well as help towards those top grades of course! I’d love to encourage others on how to prefect an effective work ethic that works for them, making learning fun and engaging. I strongly believe in demolishing educational labelling and stereotyping as anything is possible. Thus challenging my students to always strive higher is another priority of mine.
