About Megan
I am currently an A* A-Level Biology student and an aspiring medical student, with a strong passion for Biology and a genuine interest in helping others succeed. I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Biology, dropping just 22 marks across both exam papers, and have since developed an in-depth understanding of the AQA specification, mark schemes and the exam techniques needed to achieve high grades. I want to tutor because I know how much of a difference it can make to have someone explain a difficult topic in a simple way and show you how to turn your knowledge into marks. Having recently completed my own GCSEs, I understand the challenges students face and want to create supportive, engaging lessons where students can ask questions, make mistakes and build their confidence without feeling judged.

I offer personalised tutoring for AQA GCSE Biology, with lessons tailored to suit students of all abilities, whether you are looking to build your confidence with the basics, improve your exam technique, or push towards those top grades. I adapt each lesson to the individual student, taking into account their learning style, strengths, weaknesses and any specific needs they may have. As well as developing a strong understanding of the Biology content, I place a particular focus on exam technique and mark schemes — helping students understand exactly what examiners are looking for, how to approach different question types, and how to structure answers to maximise their marks. My aim is to make Biology easier to understand, enjoyable and much less overwhelming, while helping every student feel more confident in their ability.
