About Daniel
I have a BA in Latin Language and Literature, and I have done tutoring in both Latin and German for a number of years. I have also worked as a research assistant on Martin Luther's Tischreden, working with both Latin and Early Modern German.
Additionally, I have a keen interest in Indo-European comparative grammar, which I am happy to discuss with anyone wanting a more linguistic approach to Latin and language in general.
For those seeking assistance, try to give me at least one or two specific areas of concern. Examples of this might be trouble with understanding noun cases and when they are to be used, difficulty internalizing case or verb endings, difficulty with identifying patterns of word root endings between Latin and English (for vocabulary building), trouble discerning different parts of speech (either in English or Latin), or anything else.
That being said, if you're really stuck and are not really sure where you need help, that's alright too; I'll be able to figure that part out.

My approach is extremely tailored to each individual and is further dependent on the specific challenges facing the student. Generally, I prefer to work with the student by building problems and walking him/her through the requisite solving process and solution. I have found this to be rather effective when it comes to difficulties with grammatical concepts especially.
