About Arlinda
I am a qualified doctor and a graduate of São Tomé and Principe, one of the Portuguese colonial countries in West Africa. At 17, I was awarded a prestigious scholarship to study in the Republic of China (Taiwan) after completing high school. Fuelled by my passion for medicine, I pursued a year of study in Chinese Language and Culture at Fu Jen Catholic University in Taipei, before confidently applying to study medicine at China Medical University in Taichung. As a result of political issues between Taiwan and Sao Tome and Principe, I was transferred to Tianjin Medical University in Mainland China. I'm experienced in adapting to new environments and interacting with people from different backgrounds. Moreover, I am dynamic, enthusiastic, and creative, eager to take on new challenges with confidence and excitement. My medical studies and practice have equipped me with diverse valuable skills. I am preparing to study for an MSc in Healthcare Management from the prestigious University of Strathclyde and European Medical Registration, which will undoubtedly enhance my expertise and enable me to make a significant impact in the healthcare industry.

As a qualified English teacher with a TEFL 120-hour certificate from the TEFL Academy and a C2 level in the IELTS examination, I have experience teaching students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced.
In addition to my teaching qualifications, I am also a licensed doctor, which has inspired me to teach biology and anatomy to my fellow medical students.
