About Ishanka
I am currently studying Geography at the University of Nottingham, one of the top Russell group universities in the country, and I am confident in my skill and drive to support my students towards a successful future of their own.
Having spent 7 years studying at Queen Elizabeth's Boys school, one of the top grammar schools in the country, I am well equipped with knowledge and skills which I look forward to passing on to my students.
I am a hard working student who is enthusiastic to help and guide others. This was reflected well during my time at Sixth Form, where I assisted in running student support groups and clubs related to geography, maths and science to aid younger students with any problems they were facing.
I also had the opportunity to lead and assist the younger years of my school with my role as a House representative for one of six houses at QE Boys. This experience has shaped me into a friendly and approachable person, and has improved my ability to help younger students.
