About Detlev

Do you want to learn german? Or do you like to refine your knowledge of the language, for example in order to improve your german grades at school or university? Or do you want to study at a university in Germany? Nearly always, you will need a good knowledge of the german language.

I am German and have been teaching german for several years; hence learning german with me is a good oportunity for you to improve your german skills.

About the lesson

I am teaching german on different levels depending on the knowledge of the students. For beginners I follow a german textbook and use audios.

For more advanced students I use german texts (for example articles in newspapers) and multimedia sources of different levels of difficulty – depending on the knowledge of the student.

An important aspect of my classes is the communication in german with my students. In addition, we realize different reading and writing execrcises in order to improve his /her german pronunciation as well as the reading comprehension in german.

Another impotant aspect is teaching the german grammar. This point is always accompanied by several exercises which are supposed to be realized by my stundents.
