About Imogen
Hi, I'm Imogen, a 21-year-old German and Italian student in my second year of University. I love languages and literature, but I know for a lot of students this can seem like an alien concept! I understand exam pressure and stress, having suffered with a fair deal of exam-related anxiety during my school years, and I have a lot of knowledge to pass on. I can help with all aspects of learning and revision, whether that be teaching new concepts or recapping already known ones. I'm really looking forward to working together and helping you get the results you deserve and are capable of!

My lessons are based around the needs of the pupil, namely what they need help with, but also what they find interesting so that I can provide a more holistic approach to teaching. Tutoring should not be an extension of school, but rather a space in which the pupil feels safe to make mistakes, share ideas and develop their learning in an organic fashion, in a way that promotes confidence and self-belief.
I have experience tutoring a range of age groups from primary school up to A-Level and have seen excellent results in increasing confidence, improving grades and fostering a love (or at least tolerance!) for the subject.
Lessons are typically anywhere between 45 minutes and an hour, depending on the needs of the student.

Definite recommendation - Imogen has been tutoring my son since October in preparation for his GCSE German. He is a capable student however needed his confidence building and structure to his learning.
