Teaching Method & Techniques
Communicative & Immersive Approach: Focus on active speaking from day one, using German as much as possible while explaining complex grammar clearly in English when needed.
Contextual Grammar: Grammar isn't taught as isolated rules, but through practical sentences, real-life scenarios, and visual breakdowns (e.g., case charts, verb placement structures).
Interactive Spaced Repetition: Vocabulary and key phrases are reinforced continuously through real-time practice to build long-term retention without rote memorization.
Typical Lesson Plan
Warm-up & Conversation: 5–10 minutes of casual conversation in German to warm up your speaking and review previous material.
Core Concept: Introduction of new grammar or vocabulary using clear examples, visual aids, or short authentic texts.
Guided Practice: Interactive exercises, sentence-building, and role-plays with immediate, constructive feedback.
Wrap-up & Takeaways: Summary of key vocabulary, a quick Q&A, and practical exercises to practice before the next session.
What Sets Me Apart
Patient & Encouraging Environment: Making mistakes is a key part of mastering German cases and pronunciation—every error is treated as a learning step.
Demystifying Complex Rules: I break down intimidating topics—like word order (Nebensätze), gender rules (der/die/das), and case endings—into intuitive, logical patterns.
Customized Pace: The lesson flow adapts dynamically to your learning speed, focus areas, and personal goals.
