About Anja
I was able to collect my first experiences during my year abroad in Japan. I helped with conversational classes and offered a tutorial for the students after the classes. My studies in Germanic linguistics give me an advantage to other German teachers because I have studied the language in their depths and can explain better why certain rules apply as they are. For some time now, I have been attending the German language program at the New York University in Berlin and now, I would like to help other German learners to achieve their goals.

Dear future student, learning languages is difficult, German even more. There are many Problems to be found, grammar, reading, listening, intonation and more, but we can work on everything. Most important is motivation and fun at what you’re doing. I use as much variety in media as possible to make learning exciting and comprehensible. Everything can be adapted to you and we can find out where your weak points lie. So Step # 1 is a conversation to determine your level. Then we can determine how you learn most efficiently. Private at home or via Skype? Why do you learn German and what is your focus? Business or private? Maybe you just need someone who corrects your essays or helps you with your homework? Or an exam is coming and you still haven’t understood “the articles”? We will find a solution!
