About Jack

My production has brought me some great success, through multiple gigs as a DJ at various clubs and festivals around the UK. I have released music on a number of major record labels such as Repopulate Mars, Sola, Sink or Swim, Hot fussed and more! I have had many world famous DJs playing my music which has given me lots of great connections in the music scene. I was a DJ on Unity Radio and had a weekly show on Friday nights for over a year. I took on 3 courses at The School of Electronic Music which included Advanced Music Production, Audio Engineering and DJing.

About the lesson

The production techniques I have acquired over the years can be applied to any genre of music and I ensure my students will get the best knowledge possible to suit their specific needs. I think it is key that alongside production, my students learn the knowledge of the music industry that will get their music signed to record labels and how to get bookings/gigs out of their production and social media presence. Ableton Live is the main DAW I would prefer to teach on, which will allow me to send over samples and my own projects to ensure students receive the full benefits from lessons. I have a studio in Stockport, Greater Manchester which is perfect for face to face lessons, however online tuition is also an option and can be just as beneficial.

Perfect! I had a 6 hour lesson with jack where we were able to make a full track and he talked me through each step of, he made it seem so easy and explained everything great. He was happy to share all his tips and tricks, I’ve never used ableton before and I feel like I could go away and write my own tracks now and feel comfortable using ableton! I couldn’t rate him high enough, he’s a really nice lad who is great to work with.
