About Ian
I have been orienteering for 40 years, and also taught mapreading and bush navigation techniques to officer trainees during my 24-year career in the RAAF. I'm a patient teacher and believe learning practical skills is best achieved through doing, making mistakes, learning from them, then trying again.

Individual or group training sessions. Orienteering and bush navigation is mostly a practical skill, but with a little theory as well to help understand mapreading techniques and navigation concepts. If you can read a street directory or GPS, then you can learn this. If you can't, then you can learn this anyway!
