About Maahi
I am currently a junior at the Bronx High School of Science. I have a lot of experience with algebra due to me taking honors level classes in middle school (algebra 1) and following that, I took algebra 2 in my sophomore year, completing the class with a 97 class average. I am currently taking honors precalculus with a 98 average this term and I am always studying algebra and other mathematical topics for my upcoming SAT exams. Therefore, I am extremely experienced in algebra.

Since I am currently a student, I will reflect the most successful teaching methods I have experienced with my teachers from school. Also, I’m not a robot or a really strict person, I know what it feels like to have an unfriendly teacher. Therefore, I will ask my students what format of work they would prefer (slideshow presentations, google classroom posts, live class, etc). For example, I will most likely create slideshow presentations for the students and send the presentations to them for review after class. Furthermore, I plan on giving my students a reasonable load of homework reflecting the most recent lesson they learned and for extra assurance, I will go over the first couple of questions on the homework before assigning it to them to get their brains jogging. This is something that I wish my teachers would do for my classes and I think it is really helpful to the students.
