About Jake
I have a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in biology and Master of Science degree in Environmental Science from Ball State University. I worked as a graduate teaching assistant in molecular biology and tutored throughout college. Since university I have worked in various roles as an environmental professional, scientist, and government regulator.

My lessons focus on guided problem solving with the goal of growing each student’s abilities to apply their knowledge in each session. I follow an informal and flexible structure that allows for adaptation depending on the student’s learning style. I aim for students to leave each lesson with greater confidence in their competence.
