About Halle
I am 20 years old and currently studying social sciences, preparing to begin a degree in Psychology in September. I have always had a passion for learning and believe education unlocks so many possibilities. Testing the limits of your mind is unbelievably healthy, and the more you learn, the more opportunities arise. The world feel’s graspable. Therefore, being able to share my knowledge of the German language online brings me great joy.Learning another language activates different areas of the brain, and has actually been proven to slow progression of dementia. I have completed my GCSE at a grade 8 (A), and studied Deutsch for one year at A level. I have continued to practice the language: I have family and friends that I can speak German to, and my whole phone, Netflix and social media is in German. I plan to take the TestDaF next year also. My ultimate aim is to build the confidence of those beginning their language learning journey, and help them feel comfortable in conjugating verbs, reading, listening, writing and speaking.

I will provide worksheets and conversation practice, incorporating real life scenarios to build students confidence in basic conversations. Also will teach some of the slang, will build up vocabulary and teach verb conjugations. Ultimately, I want to inspire and share my passion for the language, and want to ensure my students feel they have a comfortable starting point: my lessons are a safe, supportive place to practice. I will ensure to work through any anxiety or embarrassment you may have. Du schaffst das!!
