About Maya

I have been playing for around 10 years and continuously flourish by actively seeking out new opportunities to play, such as in venues, weddings and events and have previously played for royals. I have an extensive knowledge in music theory so I can teach anyone who wants to get into playing the flute, recorder or piano. I am currently a flute recorder and piano teacher in a primary school for kids ranging from KS1 to year 6. I will teach you the basics and progress from there, with my friendly approach, your skill and passion will advance!

About the lesson

Lessons will be interactive and fun. As I am a very helpful and kind person your journey for learning the flute will be rewarding, enjoyable and quick to learn. You must have your own flute, recorder or piano in lessons.

Perfect! For a beginner, I can confidently say that she is the right tutor. She makes sure the trainee is focused and encouraged throughout her session. Not to mention the fact that her theoretical knowledge is more than satisfying, her teaching skills are also awesome.

Maya is an incredible tutor! She helped me learn the basics of playing the flute and not once did she make me feel slow or annoying. (I tend to ask a lot of questions and need things to be repeated a few times) She was extremely patient and got the ideas across perfectly. I would 100% recommend her as your tutor.
