About Takunda
My name is Takunda, and I am an ambitious A-Level student studying Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology at a local sixth form. Having recently achieved top GCSE grades, including Grade 9s in Combined Science and English, and a Grade 8 in Maths, I have a fresh, deep understanding of the exam boards and effective study strategies. Outside of academics, I have developed strong communication and leadership skills through my role as a school student leader, volunteering as a reading mentor for primary pupils, and earning my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award. I am passionate about teaching because I know how transformative the right guidance can be. My goal is to make Maths and Science accessible, enjoyable, and stress-free for every student I work with.

I offer clear, engaging, and structured Maths and Science tutoring tailored for Primary (KS2), Key Stage 3, and GCSE students. Having recently achieved top GCSE grades, including a Grade 9-9 in Combined Science and a Grade 8 in Maths, I know exactly what it takes to understand difficult concepts and master exam techniques. My teaching approach focuses on breaking complex topics into simple, manageable steps, building student confidence, and practising real exam questions.
