About the lesson

Design software (Adobe Suite) Objective: To familiarize students with the basics of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, covering essential tools, techniques, and tips, and guiding them to complete and package 2 drawings. Subjects offered: Illustrator InDesign Photoshop - Short course (6 weeks) Covers all basics of the Adobe suite with tips and tricks. Week 1-2 (Adobe Photoshop) Week 3-4 (Adobe Illustrator) Week 5-6 (Adobe InDesign) Week 1-2 (Adobe Photoshop): - Week 1: - Introduction to the interface and tools - Basic photo editing and manipulation techniques - Layer management and adjustments - Week 2: - Advanced editing techniques - Working with masks and filters - Completing a basic digital drawing - Week 3-4 (Adobe Illustrator): - Week 3: - Introduction to vector graphics and tools - Basic drawing and shape creation - Understanding paths and anchor points - Week 4: - Advanced vector techniques - Working with typography and logos - Completing a vector-based drawing - Week 5-6 (Adobe InDesign): - Week 5: - Introduction to layout design and tools - Basic text and image placement - Creating simple brochures and flyers - Week 6: - Advanced layout techniques - Packaging and exporting designs - Final project: combining elements from Photoshop and Illustrator into a cohesive layout Product: 2 completed and packaged drawings combining techniques from Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
