About Tarini
I love Mathematics, and I hope to inspire this passion in the students I tutor as well. I teach in a way that is accessible and motivational, and I look forward to helping your child reach their full potential!
From Year 7, I have participated in Mathematics competitions and programs, including Maths Enrichment in years 7-10 and the Australian Mathematics Challenge.
My hobbies include playing the piano, reading books, watching tv shows and doing escape rooms.
I also teach English and Piano lessons.

I believe in creating a fun learning environment that motivates students to excel in Mathematics. I foster a love of Mathematics through setting achievable goals for my students, and rewarding them when they achieve them. I use tailor-made lessons that align with the school curriculum and the student's personal level. I also teach exam strategy so that students can reach their full potential on the day.
Lessons are one hour each, though this is flexible depending on the child.
I have experience as a tutor, teaching year 6 students Writing, Reading, Mathematics, and Thinking Skills/General Ability for the selective high school placement test. My students saw great improvement, a result I look forward to achieving with your child as well.
I completed Mathematics Advanced with an internal rank of 7 of 95, and Mathematics Extension 1 with an internal rank of 65 of 177 at a highly competitive school.
My lessons are for students in grades 7-11 who are looking to improve their Mathematics skills. Depending on the student's needs, I am able to help with classwork, or extend their abilities to help prepare them for the HSC through personalised lessons.

Tarini is a very smart person, started her school life from Westmead Publics school and then moving to Matthew Pearce in Opportunity class and then to Baulkham Hills High selective school. She was always a top performing student, and she knows her subjects thoroughly. While in school, she did some tutoring for close family friends by engaging with her friendly methods and received very high appreciation for helping them to achieve good results. Highly recommend her as a great tutor.
Tarini is a very patient teacher who is more effective in teaching than a lot of the school teachers I have had. She will always answer your questions with respect and clarity and is dedicated to ensuring that her students are able to effectively learn the concepts taught.
