About Hiruni
I am a Chemical Engineering graduate and PhD candidate with two years of experience and strong passion for teaching and mentoring students. My strengths as a tutor lie in my ability to understand each student’s unique personality and learning style, allowing me to tailor lessons that are both effective and enjoyable. I am supportive, easy-going, and approachable, which helps students feel comfortable asking questions, build confidence, and stay motivated.

I tailor every lesson to the individual student by understanding their learning style, strengths, and personality. I focus on clear explanations, and help build the fundamental understanding of the subject rather than just memorising answers and steps.

Lesson length can vary between 60-120 minutes, based on your needs. Lessons are targetted for any student year 6 and up seeking to build confidence and understanding of mathematics and chemistry at a fundamental level.
I have previous experience as a tutor for VCE Mathematics and Chemistry as well as Teaching Associate for Mathematics and Chemistry engineering units at undergraduate level.
