I like to take a fundamental approach with my teaching, especially in maths. I prefer to guide a student through a problem using fundamental principles which are transferable to many different exam questions. This allows a deeper understanding of the subject, an example would be solving algebraic equations involving trigonometric functions by visualising the graphs of the functions in order to correctly solve the problem. My lessons would run for 1 hour and would be targeted at GCSE and A-Level standard. I have no previous professional tutoring experience.
