About Joy
I am a Geography teacher at a Secondary school with many years of experience in the classroom.
I would describe myself as passionate, confident and motivated. Teaching has always been one of strategies I find useful is exploring different approaches of thinking, learning and engaging with each individual.
As a high achieving teacher, I have been able to turn around underachieving pupils. My goal for every student is to make sure I leave them better than when I met them.

The lessons will be taught to for individual needs. The lesson goal will be clearly outlined by both parties.
There will be the use of engaging teaching strategies using video based learning, work sheets to encourage students engagement and some offline activities to keep students motivated after the lessons.
We would use a flowchart to outline the lesson plan which provides a sense of direction for the teacher and student.
