About Drew
I believe that anyone can learn math and science if they are given the right resources and are taught the right way. Mathematics requires a very distinct way of thinking in order to get right, my goal is to teach that method so students can have the skillset to adapt to new problems and be confident in their abilities.
Programming has become one of the most in-demand skills in industry over the last decade. There are lots of online resources to help people get started, but none of them can replace the guidance of someone with experience. Learning to code is all about tripping and falling a million times until things finally fit right, it makes sense to have someone helping you that's been through that process and knows how develop through it.

I like to start with practice problems to see both where students are at with understanding the subject and how they approach solving problems. I then select lesson plans accordingly focusing on developing understanding and strategy towards learning and growth. I can teach high school mathematics from Algebra to Calculus and can help beginners learn how to program and start on their first projects.
