About Dulanjali Sankapali
I am a mathematics and digital technologies educator currently completing a Graduate Diploma of Teaching (Secondary) at Southern Cross University, with Mathematics as a minor subject. My passion for mathematics is grounded in a strong academic foundation: I achieved a Distinction in Physics and a Very Good Pass in Combined Mathematics in my GCE Advanced Level examinations, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and a Master of Information Technology at RMIT University (GPA 3.8, Higher Distinction).
I have tutored mathematics students at secondary level and have hands-on classroom experience delivering STEM programmes to secondary school students in Melbourne. My engineering and software background gives me the ability to connect mathematical concepts to real-world problem-solving, helping students see the practical relevance of what they are learning.
I believe that every student can build confidence in mathematics with the right support and clear explanation. My teaching approach focuses on understanding the concept first, working through examples together, and building problem-solving skills that extend beyond the exam.
