About Kristy
My name is Kristy and I am a second year Medical Student studying Graduate Entry Medicine at Swansea University. I also have a 1st class Bachelor's in Applied Medical Sciences. I am offering tutor sessions in GCSE Biology, Chemistry. I love the sciences a lot, it allows us to understand more of the world that we live in, but it is not always easy to grasp and understand. As a tutor who is very passionate in these subjects, I offer high quality, engaging, coherent and fun sessions to ensure you get the best out of your learning.

Lessons are structured in a friendly and productive manner. At the beginning, I will introduce the topic of the lesson and allow the student to feel as comfortable as possible in the lesson space where they can ask as many questions as they like to ensure understanding of the topic. According to the student's own needs, we will continue by either practising exam questions or going over a specific topic they need help with. We will then wrap up the lesson by going over what we learnt, asking questions and planning what we would like to cover in the next lesson. The whole process will be very interactive, ensuring the student gets the most out of their experience. I will help students achieve their goals by tailoring the lessons according to their own needs. This will make sure we target what it is they are struggling most with and helping them improve on such topic. It will be a friendly space where the student can ask me as many questions as they like to ensure they understand the concepts that we will discuss. I will measure my student's progress by doing exam questions with them at the end of each lesson. This will allow both the student and myself to identify areas that need further covering. It is important to be a friendly tutor who places their student's need as their top priority to ensure they excel in their subjects. This is what I aim to do. A typical length of a lesson is 1 hour, however, I am open to more or less depending on the student. I am a Graduate Entry Medical student with a 1st class Bachelor's degree in Medical Sciences. Because of these two degrees, I am well equipped in teaching GCSE and A-level Biology and GCSE chemistry. I have been a tutor for 18 months and would like to continue such privilege.
