About Nicholas
I've worked as a substitute teacher in some of the hardest school districts and some of the most respected school districts in the San Francisco Bay Area. I've taught students of all ages from Kindergarten through twelfth grade. My experience gives me the confidence to personalize lessons according to age and type of student. My experience as a comedian, musician, and actor allow me to imbue each lesson with an extra hint of fun and excitement.

I take a personable approach to teaching and tutoring where I allow for the student to feel at ease and comfortable talking about what problems they're encountering in mathematics. We relate those problems to every day situations and arrive at solutions together. I like to make the student feel like he already possesses the tools to solve the problems on his own. I just give them a little push in the right direction.
