About Tingfeng

Hi, I'm Tingfeng Huang, and I'm here to help you with math. I have an Applied Mathematics BA from UC Berkeley, and I've been tutoring for more than three years. I know math can be tough, but I'm here to make it easier for you. We'll tackle your challenges together and build a strong foundation.

During our sessions, you can ask questions, and we'll work through problems step by step. My goal is to boost your confidence and help you understand math better. Whether you're prepping for a test or just want to improve, I'm here to support your goals.

About the lesson

In this one-hour lesson, our objective is to understand Calculus. We'll use the textbook and lecture notes to aid our learning. We'll start with a short introduction to the topic, explaining why it's important. Then, we'll dive into the main part, breaking it into smaller sections with clear explanations and examples. I'll involve you by asking questions and encouraging participation. If needed, we'll practice with activities or questions to ensure you grasp the concepts. Towards the end, we'll review what we've learned, and I'll provide feedback. Finally, we'll wrap up by summarizing the key points and discussing what's coming up next. If there's homework, I'll assign some practice work to reinforce your understanding. Remember, this plan is flexible, and we can adjust it based on your progress and any questions you may have.
