About Manik
I am a Law student, and being a student of Law - and having passed through English 3/4 myself - I have developed a certain appreciation for words and their use.
I enjoy showing students the light at the end of the tunnel - which is to not dread English - to harness it as yet another subject with a clear set of learnable skills and approaches to problem-solving.
I'm very patient, very open to new ideas, and most of all - enjoy teaching the subject. I cannot recall a lesson where I have been unenergised or dull. I enjoy what I teach, and approach it with diligence and enthusiasm.

The thing most students get stressed out about with English are thoughts like: "I'm not naturally good at writing","I don't have a talent for it", "I don't know how to make my writing better because I'm bad at it in the first place".
What many don't understand is that, just like mathematics, English also has its own formulas. Clear, followable steps and tips which can make you better at the language and how to use it. I'm not going to say:"read more books" or "practise writing"...those are obvious, and unhelpful.
I'm here to teach you how to master the art of formulating your writing in a way which is logical, and learnable.
And most of all, I will teach you how to add your own voice to your writing - without getting too bogged down on learning the 'formulas' I speak of.
