About Tash
I spent the latter years in my high school running our school's Learner Council, where I aimed to help foster learning for the sake of learning, and encouraging students to take agency in the classroom by having the confidence to ask questions and working with teachers to develop learning partnerships. Teachers, of course, cannot personally attend to every single student to the depth that many need, especially in younger years, so tutoring is a way for me to help create those individual connections and help students learn their own requirements for learning and prepare them for the individualised nature of senior school.

I went through highschool tutoring and helping peers, and struggling with learning difficulties myself. I specialise in adapting tutoring styles to fit with the learning of each individual. I tutor a junior high school/late primary school level (Years 6 - 10 in SA), because those are the years when adaptation, learning how you learn and encouragement are the most important.
